Expanding upon my portfolio of images under the Product Visualization services, I present the US Aluminum, Series 2200 Curtain Wall with 1” Insulated Glass. This is a product that I used to buy in the past for my projects and I decided to reproduce it. It all began downloading the window drawing from the manufacturer’s web page. It was a 2D AutoCad file. After “cleaning it up”, I only left the aluminum profiles. After applying the “Extrusion” command, I had part of the model done. Later I modeled the weatherstripping, glass, etc. 75% of the time was dedicated to the creation of materials which is what really sells the hyper-photorealism. Post-production in Photoshop to adjust contrasts, colors, DOF with the help of my render elements, chromatic aberrations and now it is ready for the “catalog”.
